On Campus Resources

The S.O.S. Food Pantry, located at Community Engagement and Sustainability, supports Austin Peay State University's students through troubling times by helping fight hunger. The campus community supports and supplies the food pantry through donations. Hours of operation are: Tuesday - Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 322 Home Avenue (white house with red door behind Hand Village). Students may use the food pantry once a week if needed and will need their APSU GOVS student identification card to receive food. For questions, please contact the food pantry at 931-221-6120.

The Govs Give Back Fund was established to help ensure that Austin Peay State University students, faculty and staff have access to the support and resources they need to successfully recover from unexpected financial crises. Students, faculty or staff who are facing unexpected financial hardship due to non-routine auto expenses, medical expenses, childcare expenses, disability expenses, and computer problems may apply for support funding through the SOS Food Pantry.  Please review the eligibility criteria here and fill out an online application if you would like to apply for funds. Please contact 931-221-6590 for any questions.

The Miller/SGA Emergency Loan Fund is designed to provide students currently enrolled at Austin Peay State University access to emergency aid when needed. All students who desire and are granted permission to emergency loans are required to pay back the loan amount. Since the Miller/SGA Emergency Loan Fund is a revolving account, as previously loaned money is paid back into the account, it becomes available to be loaned again. Please review the loan criteria and the application process. The online application can be filled out and submitted via email to studentaffairs@apsu.edu. Please contact 931-221-7341 with any questions.
