Transcript Requests

NOTE:  Electronic PDF Transcripts are now available!

Students may request copies of transcripts from the Office of the Registrar at any time permitting there are no holds on the account.  There is no charge for transcripts unless you request a secure, electronic PDF transcript.  A convenience fee of $2.85 is charged by the vendor, Parchment  to have transcripts sent electronically. Please allow up to 10 business days for transcript processing.  If you receive an error message stating you have a hold, please contact the Office of the Registrar at registrar@apsu.edu.  Holds must be resolved in order for the release of an academic transcript. 

A reminder that processing may take longer for students who have asked that their transcripts be held pending posting of grades or degree. 

Transcripts may be requested by completing a Transcript Request Form in Ellington Room 316, Monday through Friday. 8:00a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Secure, electronic PDF transcripts are sent electronically to the recipient.  Transcripts sent electronically are typically processed within several hours.  An exception to this would be a hold on the student's academic record.  To order an electronic PDF transcript, please visit Parchment and click “create new account."

Students may submit a Transcript Request Form by mail, email or fax for printed transcripts. Send the completed Transcript Request Form as an attachment to registrar@apsu.edu or fax it to 931-221-6264.  The form MUST be signed with your actual handwritten signature or signed with a secure digital signature.  Previous students who do not know their A# (student ID #) should use the last 4 digits of the Social Security Number in the Student ID box.  If you attended Austin Peay prior to Fall Quarter 1979, there may be a longer processing time.

Students may send a request by mail to our office.  The student must include his or her name, last four of SSN, date of birth, previous name if applicable, current address, complete address of the location the transcript is to be mailed to, the last date of attendance at APSU and signature.  The Transcript Request Form can be emailed to registrar@apsu.edu or printed and mailed directly to the following address:
