Swim Lessons
The Foy Pool offers several different choices when it comes to swim lessons. We offer American Red Cross group lessons from the Parent & Child level through Learn-to-Swim level 4. After level 4, we encourage swimmers to join our Fitness Swimmer Camp where swimmers enhance their technique and learn competitive swimming skills. APSU is proud to also be able to offer private and semi-private swim lessons for those wanting a more tailored, one-on-one instruction.

Fitness Swimmer Camp
Designed for ages 5-17 who have passed the American Red Cross Learn to Swim Level 3/4 course, APSU’s Fitness Swimmer Camp is structured similarly to a swim team without the full season commitment. Participants will work on proper technique in the four competitive strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly), improve their endurance, learn flip turns and competitive open turns, and gain lifelong swimming skills that promote a healthy and active lifestyle.
Fitness Swimmer Camps are held weekly. Each week there will be four 45-minute practices that swimmers can choose to attend. Swimmers are not required to attend every practice, but are welcome to attend all of them if they choose. APSU’s Fitness Swimmer Camp is taught by American Red Cross certified instructors.
