University Recreation's Adventure Recreation trips/outings are cooperative adventures aimed to empower people through unique and exciting experiences. These experiences are meant to provide participants with the opportunity to grow and develop skills while recreating in the outdoors. Each person will be an equal member of the group on these trips, regardless of skill level. Therefore, it is important that each participant accurately and honestly assess his or her own skill level before taking part in trips that are perhaps beyond their abilities. We offer trips for every skill level throughout the year so that everyone has the opportunity to take part in our outings. University Recreation wants people to develop their own skills and self-reliance, to communicate and work as a group while enjoying the world outdoors.
For more information about individual trips see the trip descriptions located on our trip schedule page or see our general information on our Trip FAQ page.
