Managing the Austin Peay website
The Austin Peay State University Office of Public Relations and Marketing manages and maintains the university's website using the OU Campus Content Management System.
A Content Management System, or CMS, houses all the university's web content, and allows site editors to work collaboratively on all things digitally. The site redesign was launched on June 29, 2017, and has since been recognized with a regional award of excellence at the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, CASE, District III awards in February 2018.
There are individual site editors for each academic unit and department, as well as two main administrators: Campus Webmaster Hannah Eden, email@example.com, and Web Content Assistant Sean McCully, firstname.lastname@example.org. You can reach out to either of these employees for issues on the website, or submit a help desk ticket at this link to resolve non-critical issues.
For site editors, there are multiple resources to help you as you design your webpages. Check out our guides to using Snippets and Regions for more information about each element available to your respective areas.
