Pre-licensure BSN

Nurses play a crucial role in health care. The APSU pre-licensure Bachelor of Science in nursing track prepares graduates to practice in a variety of settings and to care for individuals, families and populations across the lifespan. Students work with highly trained faculty and take rigorous coursework in preparation for the National Council Licensure Examination. Graduates achieve competencies that address the rapidly changing health care needs of Tennessee’s ethnically diverse and aging population.

The traditional nursing curriculum extends over four semesters of full-time study. Each semester of the academic year provides for the practice of skills and the application of knowledge through a variety of classroom, laboratory and clinical experiences.
