APSU secretarial positions, salaries under study

At the recommendation of Interim President Sherry Hoppe, Human Resources has begun an analysis of the classification of secretarial positions at Austin Peay.
The objective is to provide consistency in classification for similar jobs across the campus.
According to Bob Bird, interim executive director of human resources, no one currently employed on campus will experience a change to a lower job title or a reduction in pay because of this study. Any change identified as necessary will be implemented only after a position is vacated.
The study should be completed and approved during the next few months.
