HIP Liaison

HIP Liaisons are exemplary faculty and staff members that were chosen by the QEP Director and HIP Directors from each area to serve as a high-impact practice (HIP) liaison within their prospective areas. Faculty HIP Liaisons are selected from each academic department to educate faculty and students on the HIP opportunities available within their prospective departments and beyond. Respectively, staff members will work to educate members of their departments about the opportunities available for students. The HIP Liaisons work with the Faculty/Staff Development Committee to implement intrusive high-impact methods by hosting workshops and events. The goal of the HIP Liaison program is to foster a relationship between the student and campus community that will strengthen the student's connection to the university, academic performance, and retention.
