Which language course do I take?

Are you interested in taking a language course at Austin Peay but not sure which level is right for you? APSU offers placement exams for students of German, French, Spanish, Latin, and Greek. These exams are for students who have experience with a language and might be prepared to take a more advanced course (anything beyond 1010). 

What should I expect? 

Each student can take each language exam once. The exam will take about 25 minutes to complete and will consist of a variety of multiple-choice questions that center around vocabulary, grammar, and reading. You are also required to complete the informational survey prior to taking the exam. Once complete, please contact your advisor or Dr. Katherine Honea in the Department of Languages and literature via email (honeak@apsu.edu) so that you can be placed in the most appropriate course.

Do I get credit for the test? 

This test is for placement purposes only.
