Training and Development

The Office of Human Resources at APSU is pleased to announce weekly training modules designed to enhance your career goals, as well as personal and professional development.  The Office of Human Resources endeavors to provide as many different topics as possible for your benefit.  You may take as many modules as you wish. Please consider taking advantage of these prestigious resources by registering for the trainings listed below. If you have a subject matter you would like to share with others, please advise Human Resources, and we will attempt to accommodate your training request.  

The Office of Human Resources is pleased to announce some exciting updates to performance evaluations for the coming year. The performance evaluation criteria have been simplified and clarified.  Now one performance evaluation will be used for all professional, support, and administrative staff.
Human Resources will be offering a number of training session to discuss the new evaluation criteria.  You can sign up for one of these sessions at the "Register" button.  Please work with your manager/staff to find a time that you can attend.  We highly encourage everyone to participate in one of these sessions.

 Please join us for "Suicide Prevention Training."  QPR is designed to detect persons who are in the thinking or ideational phase of a suicide plan.  Participants will be able to recognize someone at risk, demonstrate increased knowledge of intervention skills, and describe knowledge of referral sources and how to refer someone to help.
