Health and Human Performance Major: Health Care Management Concentration
The health care management concentration provides students the opportunity to prepare for employment as a manager in nursing homes, hospitals, regional, state or local health departments, home health care agencies, health maintenance organizations, surgical care centers, insurance companies, physician group practices, and voluntary health agencies.
To earn a degree in Health and Human Performance with a concentration in Healthcare Management, the student must earn 120 total hours. The curriculum requires the students to take UNIV 1000 (1 hour), 41 general education hours, 49 hours in the major, and 29 elective hours.
