Budget Calendar

July                    Budget (Summary Forms I – VIII) on APSU website for new
                          fiscal year.

September         Appropriations Request to TBR/THEC for next fiscal year

                          Current year revenue projections reviewed for changes 
                          needed after fall enrollment is known

                          Schedule of Sources/Uses of new funds provided to the 
                          Executive Council* for review – additions/deletions based on
                          information received from them since the last budget cycle.

                          Organization chart from the previous budget cycle provided to
                          Executive Council* for revision

October              Revised budget/organization chart submitted electronically 
                           to TBR

December           APSU revised budget approved at TBR meeting.

                           Requests for additions/changes to incidental fees (fees other
                           than maintenance fees/tuition) sent to the campus

January                Revised budget (summary Forms I – VIII) on APSU website

                            Incidental fee requests submitted to the budget office. 
                            Reviewed by the Executive Council* for those to be a part of
                            APSU’s submission to TBR.  Incidental fees submitted to TBR

February              Departments may submit requests for changes to base
                            budgets

February – April   Revenue projections updated based on estimated fee
                            increases/current student enrollment

                            Schedule of Sources/Uses of new funds provided to the
                            Executive Council for review – additions/deletions - based
                            on information received from them since the last budget
                            cycle.  Executive Council* establishes funding priorities

                            President convenes a meeting with the Budget Advisory
                            Committee** to review sources/uses of funds for the
                            upcoming year

March                  Incidental fees approved at TBR meeting

May                     Estimated/Proposed budget submitted electronically to TBR

June                     APSU estimated/proposed budget approved at TBR meeting
