Quickbooks for Beginners

Training in Best Practices for Desktop users!  

This course will cover how to use QuickBooks for your accounting needs. Participants should have a beginning understanding of accounting practices. You will work with a sample file in class and will delete, add, and correct data. Topics include: creating a company file for sole owner, chart of accounts, type of accounts, adding accounts, items and services, quick start menu, passwords, vendors, customers, employees, entering bills, checks, reports, memorized reports, sales tax setup, invoices, receiving payments, reconciling, balance sheet, void and delete, deposits, and refunds.

April was raised in Waverly, Tennessee and has been employed by Thurman Campbell Group, PLC since 2007. She has 15 years of experience in QuickBooks, public accounting, specializes in small business  startup, QuickBooks consulting, general accounting/bookkeeping, and out-sourced controllership services. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and son, as well as taking advantage of the outdoors, fishing, hiking, and swimming.
