2016 Edelweiss Club Scholarship awarded to APSU student Vogel

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Jillian Vogel, a music major and German minor at Austin Peay State University, was selected to receive the Clarksville Edelweiss Club Scholarship for the 2016-17 academic year.

Vogel was honored during an awards ceremony at the Edelweiss Clubhouse on June 8, and received a certificate from Bob Perkins, president of the Clarksville Edelweiss Club.

Vogel was honored during an awards ceremony at the Edelweiss Clubhouse on June 8, and received a certificate from Bob Perkins, president of the Clarksville Edelweiss Club.

The Clarksville Edelweiss Scholarship grants $500 per year. Students must be German majors or minors at APSU. The Clarksville Edelweiss Club is a not-for-profit organization and was founded to uphold and promote German heritage and tradition.
