SGA elects new officers, representatives for 2011-12 academic year

Students at Austin Peay State University recently elected new officers and representatives to the Student Government Association.

The SGA executive board will consist of Trent Gaasch, president; Catherine “Cady” Denton, vice president; Jesse Brewer, executive secretary; and Kathryn H. White, chief justice.

The SGA Senate will include the following students:

College of Arts and Letters: Jonathan Jeans, Thomas Paul Smith and Jessica Weaver.

College of Behavioral and Health Sciences: James Cameron Bentley, Carlos Moreno and Sarah Simpson.

Senior senator is William Hoekstra; junior senator, Roger “RJ” Taylor; and sophomore senator, Kelsie Penick.
