TBR approves 2 new APSU departments

Austin Peay State University officials recently received the Tennessee Board of Regents approval for two new departments.

Located in the College of Science and Mathematics, the new APSU Department of Allied Health Sciences is made up of the Universitys degree programs in medical technology and radiologic technology, both of which were formerly part of the APSU Department of Biology. The chair of this new department is Dr. Robert (Robbie) Robison, professor of biology.

The new APSU Department of Professional Studies is located within the APSU Center @ Fort Campbell. The department chair is Dr. Becky Starnes, assistant professor of professional studies.
