“The APSU flute choir was established shortly after I came to APSU and consists of flute majors and minors as well as other outstanding University students who enjoy playing the flute,” said Lisa Vanarsdel, flute professor at APSU.

The high school flute choir was established in 1992 by director JoAnn McIntosh.

The recital will feature “music in a variety of styles and audience members have the opportunity to see and hear all the members of the flute family,” Vanarsdel said.

Vanarsdel has been with the APSU flute program for 22 years.
