Senior selected for national ODK leadership program this summer

Austin Peay State University senior Christopher Drew has been selected to participate in the annual Campus Leaders Today, Community Leaders Tomorrow program, sponsored by the Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK) national leadership honor society, from June 16-19 in Phoenix, Ariz.

Drew, of Clarksville, is a member of APSUs ODK chapter. He also was elected by the APSU student body to serve as president of the Student Government Association president for the 2009-10 academic year. He is a business accounting and finance major.

The program brings together 40 college leaders and is designed to prepare them for service as board members for nonprofit organizations. The students will attend a series of lectures and discussions and experience a meeting with selected nonprofit board and staff members. -- Melony Shemberger
