Phi Kappa Phi holds Grad School Workshop 2005

The APSU chapter of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi is offering a Graduate School Workshop on Thursday, Oct. 13, in UC 303.

The workshop is keyed to junior and senior undergraduates who want to explore the possibility of attending graduate school. It will offer information on selecting, preparing for and applying to a graduate school.
The APSU chapter of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi is offering a Graduate School Workshop on Thursday, Oct. 13, in UC 303.

The workshop is keyed to junior and senior undergraduates who want to explore the possibility of attending graduate school. It will offer information on selecting, preparing for and applying to a graduate school.

Among the topics to be explored are competitive undergraduate transcripts and Graduate Record Exams scores, choosing a graduate program, the application process and financial aid. Near the end of the workshop, students will be divided into groups by discipline of study to enable them to attend sessions with faculty representing specific degree programs.

The workshop leaders include Dr. Charles Pinder, dean of the College of Graduate Studies, Dr. Linda Thompson, past PKP president, Elizabeth Stonerock, Financial Aid Office, and Lori Buchanan, Woodward Library.
