King says, “The ‘Opera Theatre' brings all aspects of theater together — music, drama, costumes, sets, orchestra, singers, pianists and the mystery of live theater.

“Our music students have reached new heights to bring live musical theater to Austin Peay. ‘Carmen' is flashy and colorful. ‘Magic Flute' is beautiful and humorous. ‘Gianni Schicchi' is quite clever with Puccini melodies to warm the heart.”
