Columbia State aims to raise $4 million for satellite campus Columbia State aims to raise $4 million for satellite campus
Columbia State Community College is pressing forward with efforts to raise $4 million in private funds or gifts of land to be used to develop a new campus in Williamson County. Since the new campus is No. 13 on the state's capital projects list, CSCC President Rebecca Hawkins said that, if the $4 million in local matching funds can be raised by Jan. 1, 2006, the new campus has a chance to be included in the state's 2006-07 budget. In July, the CSCC Foundation made the new Williamson County campus its top priority. (The Tennessean, Sept. 14, 2005)
