Los Angeles Guitar Quartet to play Valentine's concert

The APSU/Clarksville Community Concert Series presents a Valentines Day dinner and concert.

Dinner guests will be seated from 5-6 p.m., Monday, Feb. 14, at Café 541 and The Blackhorse Pub and Brewery, both located in downtown Clarksville.

Following dinner, the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet (LAGQ) will perform at 7:30 p.m. in APSUs music/mass communication building concert hall.

Following dinner, the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet (LAGQ) will perform at 7:30 p.m. in APSU's music/mass communication building concert hall.

Featured on CBS' “Saturday Morning” and A&E Network's “Breakfast with the Arts,” LAGQ is recognized as one of America's premier instrumental ensembles. Praised for capturing the feeling and fervor of diverse musical styles such as jazz, bluegrass, rock and flamenco, the group's most recent album, “Guitar Heroes,” garnered Grammy award nominations for Best Classical Crossover Album and Best Engineered Album.

The cost of admission for the concert alone is $25 for adults and $12 for students. APSU students with valid identification cards will be admitted at no cost.

A ticket package including dinner and concert admission for two may be purchased for $100. Seating is limited and reservations are required.

Café 541 will offer your choice of artichoke Italiano or mousse de canard; salad or soup; osso bucco, duck a l'orange or filet mignon; crème brulee or bread pudding and a beverage.

The Blackhorse will offer salad; your choice of grilled salmon, New York strip steak or chicken florentine; dessert and a beverage.
