Lady Govs in seventh place after first round of F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate

Austin Peays womens golf team finds itself in seventh place among a strong field after the first round of the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate, being played at the Clarksville Country Club.

The Lady Govs shot 335–20 strokes behind leader Princeton (315). The Lady Govs will look to improve their score while attempting to move up in the team standings during todays final round of the 36-hole tournament.

Sophomore Amanda Rose shot an 82, good enough for a 20th-place tie, to lead the Lady Govs while junior Erin Wise, the Lady Govs top player this fall, was next at 83 (t/26th) followed by fellow junior Christine Idoux (t/32nd) at 84. Another junior, Pier-Anne LaChance shot an 86 (t/44th) while freshman Christina Lignarolo (t/68th) came in at 93.
