Lady Govs golf opens spring season in Florida

Austin Peays womens golf team opened its 2004 schedule Sunday, Feb. 29, at the Fifth Annual Lady Mocs Invitational in Lakeland, Fla. The tournament is being played through Tuesday, March 2, at the Cleveland Heights Golf Club on a par-72, 5,997-yard course.

The team moved up from 17th to 13th Monday after second-round play. The Lady Govs players include senior Lynn Mantooth, sophomores Christine Idoux, Pier LaChance, Erin Wise and freshman Amanda Rose.
