Lady Govs first-round game set for March 21

Austin Peays womens basketball team–making its fourth consecutive NCAA tournament appearance–will meet No. 4 seed LSU in a Sunday, March 21, contest.

The APSU-LSU game will be the days second game, following a 6 p.m. first-round game between Maryland and Miami (Fla.). The game will start at approximately 8:30 p.m. or 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first contest.

The APSU-LSU game will be the day's second game, following a 6 p.m. first-round game between Maryland and Miami (Fla.). The game will start at approximately 8:30 p.m. or 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first contest.

For the second consecutive year, all 63 games from the 2004 NCAA Division I Women's Championship will be televised on ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN FULL COURT, beginning with first-round action on Saturday, March 20. During the first two rounds, ESPN and ESPN2 will present the 48 games within 16 telecast windows, while ESPN FULL COURT will offer complete game telecasts of all 48 games.

The Austin Peay-LSU contest is schedule to be televised on ESPN2.
