Thomas King, professor of voice and a tenor, was a professional opera singer in the German theater for five years, singing more than 400 performances during that time. Vicki King, author of “Playing the Piano Naturally”, owns a private piano studio. She travels the country as a piano clinician and judge for the National Piano Guild.

The Kings have performed concerts and recitals together for more than 35 years. Both teach every summer at the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria.

The recital will include songs by French composers Debussy, Massenet, Fauré, Poulenc and Boulanger and English composer Ralph Vaughan Williams. Double Reed Professor Alicia Whitney will assist in the Vaughan Williams songs, playing the oboe.
