Austin Peay's men's basketball team won its 19th straight home game and snapped a two-game losing streak as it defeated a stubborn Maryville College, 86-62, Monday night in Dave Aaron Arena.

Adrian Henning led the Govs with a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds, reaching both the career 1,000-point and 500-rebound marks. He is the 23rd player in school history to reach the 1,000-point club and unofficially the 20th to reach the 500-rebound group, joining teammate Josh Lewis, who vaulted into that club a year ago. Lewis, who had seven rebounds in the game, also was a perfect five-for-five from the floor in scoring 15 points. Maurice “Squeaky” Hampton added 11 points off the bench, while Anthony Davis had 10.

The Govs return to action at 1 p.m., Saturday with another difficult road tilt as they face Louisville, which knocked off No. 1 Florida last Saturday at Freedom Hall in Louisville.
