Friedman resigns from Lady Govs soccer post

Heather Friedman, assistant womens soccer coach for the past two seasons, has resigned to accept a similar position at Creighton.

Friedman joined the Lady Govs program in 2003 after completing her collegiate career at Arkansas-Little Rock. She primarily worked with APSUs goalkeepers while monitoring the teams academic progress, planning team travel and assisting with player development and recruiting.

“I believe it's a great move for Heather,” says Lady Govs Head Coach Kelley Guth. “It's a great chance for her to develop as a college coach while working with an established program. I wish her the best of luck.”
