Chamber Singers, University Orchestra perform Oct. 10

The department of music will present a concert featuring the Chamber Singers and the University Orchestra at 4 p.m., Oct. 10, in the music/mass communication building concert theatre.

The Chamber Singers, whose 24 members comprise APSUs premiere auditioned vocal ensemble, are conducted by Dr. Karen Kenaston-French. Their program includes works by J.S Bach, Joseph Rheinberger, Virgil Thomson, Robert Shaw and Alice Parker.

The University Orchestras portion of the concert will mark its members first performance with newly appointed orchestra director Tanya Simons.

Admission is free and open to the public.
