Capital Campaign sees slight increase

The departments of developmental studies, extended and distance education and mathematics and computer sciences have led the push, Legg says. "They've had the greatest increases in giving."

The "thermometer" measuring the giving level in Austin Peay's "Campus Campaign: rose another degree in the last two weeks. "It's going upslowly but surely," says Heather Legg, manager, University Advancement.

The departments of developmental studies, extended and distance education and mathematics and computer sciences have led the push, Legg says. "They've had the greatest increases in giving."

Legg encourages givers to wear their Campus Campaign button daily to remind others of the effort. She also notes that anyone who has misplaced his or her button or donation form can get a replacement by calling her at 6357.
