The giving level for the Campus Campaigna fundraising effort focusing on faculty and staffrose one more degree this week, putting the University at 22 percent overall, according to officials in Advancement.

"We're moving on up!" says Heather Legg, manager.

The greatest increases were in the Office of Admissions and in the departments of health and human performance, according to Legg.

Legg met with members of the Staff Council last week to explain the strategy of the campaign. "We want to be able to tell potential donors that every last member of the Austin Peay faculty and staff gives to the University," she said.

"And donations don't have to be large. They should be whatever the giver can affordeven if it's a dollar.

"Our goal is 100 percent participation."

Legg says that in addition to showing support for the University, 100 percent participation has another benefit. "If we meet that, we can give away the grand prizea week's stay in Florida at a beautiful condo!"
