Effective Jan. 1, the Counseling, Testing and Career Service office was split into two new offices. Dr. Barbara Blackston is director of Career, Advisement and Testing Services (UC 210), and Dr. Lowell Roddy is director of Student Counseling Services (Ellington 202).

According to Gerald Beavers, executive director for the APSU Center @ Fort Campbell, the new Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Homeland Security has 113 enrolled students. He adds that the new program, which was implemented Jan. 1, 2005, is garnering inquiries from around the state.
