Austin Peay sponsors Creative Capital Workshop for Tennessee artists

Austin Peays department of art and the Center of Excellence for the Creative Arts are co-sponsoring the Creative Capital Professional Development Workshop.

The weekend-long workshop, which will take place March 12-14, is designed to help artists further their professional development skills such as strategic planning, fundraising and promotion.

The workshop will be led by professional consultants and Creative Capital grantees. The participants are a pre-selected group of professional artists working in Tennessee.

Creative Capital, a New York City-based nonprofit organization, supports artists who pursue innovation in form and/or content in the performing and visual arts, film and video and emerging fields.
