Art students to present exhibits this semester

The Austin Peay State University Department of Art has scheduled several student art exhibitions for the Fall 2008 semester.

Students enrolled in the Senior Exhibition class, taught by Professor of Art Gregg Schlanger, must present their work in a public setting to earn their Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees. Fourteen students are enrolled this fall in the course.

All shows, open to the public, will be on APSUs main campus.

The seniors scheduled to present are the following:

• Nov. 17-21: Amy Sheppard, Trahern, Room 106.
• Nov. 24-28, Jamie Weatherspoon, Trahern, Room 106
• Nov. 24-28: Todd Rasco, Morgan University Center, Don Jenkins Gallery.
• Dec. 1-5: Greg Sand, Trahern Building, Room 106.
• Dec. 1-7: Visual communication group exhibit (Rania Agaib, Carole Beekman, Alex Ewin, Theresa Fender, Kim Gullet, Joseph Long, Brett Shumaker and Courtney Zenner), Trahern Gallery.
