The Chi Omega Fraternity at Austin Peay State University will sponsor its Second Annual “Wings for Wishes” fundraising event.

“Wings for Wishes” will be from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., April 9 in the Morgan University Center plaza on the APSU campus. Local and regional businesses will donate their wing samples to the affair in competition of the best wings in town.

APSU students and faculty will have an opportunity to enter the contest and submit their wing samples. Students who attend the event will be the judges of the wings. Each business that donates wings or support will be featured in the 2010 “Wings for Wishes” T-shirt design and will receive a shirt for advertising and in appreciation for attending.

This student-sponsored occasion will use the proceeds from admission fees, silent auction donations and T-shirt sales as a donation to the Middle Tennessee Chapter of The Make-A-Wish Foundation.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation is the national philanthropy of the Chi Omega Women's Fraternity. The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
