APSU prof chosen as treasurer of Tennessee Political Science Association

An associate professor of public management at APSU has been named treasurer of the Tennessee Political Science Association (TPSA).

Dr. William H. Kraus was elected treasurer for 2005-06 during TPSAs annual meeting April 22-23 at Fall Creek Falls State Park.

He also served as one of the meetings primary speakers. His topic was Elections of 2004 … Lets Not Look Back, But Ahead.

Dr. William H. Kraus was elected treasurer for 2005-06 during TPSA's annual meeting April 22-23 at Fall Creek Falls State Park.

He also served as one of the meeting's primary speakers. His topic was “Elections of 2004 … Let's Not Look Back, But Ahead.”

Kraus joined the faculty of APSU in 2003. Prior to that, he served as a city manager, non-profit association executive and professor in Southern California over a span of 40 years.

He earned his bachelor's and a master's at the University of California, a second master's at Occidental College and his doctorate at the University of Southern California.
