APSU to participate in 1st University Day

The Tennessee Board of Regents will hold its inaugural University Day from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 27 at Legislative Plaza.

Austin Peay State University will be among six TBR universities participating. APSU will highlight chemistry, making ice cream using liquid nitrogen.

Austin Peay State University will be among six TBR universities participating. APSU will highlight chemistry, making ice cream using liquid nitrogen.

Also, Tamara Flaherty, the first APSU student to earn the online Master of Science in Nursing, will accompany APSU officials in calling on state legislators. Flaherty was featured in TBR's recent publication, “Educating Tennessee: Tennessee Board of Regents Institutions and Providing Access to Higher Education.”

In addition to Austin Peay, other TBR universities participating are East Tennessee State University, Middle Tennessee State University, Tennessee State University, Tennessee Technological University and The University of Memphis.
