APSU offers degree completion program at Dickson County Higher Education Center

Students in Dickson County may be closer to completing a college degree than they thinkand Austin Peay State University wants to help them achieve that goal without their having to leave Dickson County.

Beginning this month, APSU will offer the Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies (B.S.P.S.) at the Dickson County Higher Education Center. The B.S.P.S. is for students who have completed general education coursesthose courses completed in an associate degree program or during the first two years of a bachelors degree program.

Beginning this month, APSU will offer the Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies (B.S.P.S.) at the Dickson County Higher Education Center. The B.S.P.S. is for students who have completed general education coursesthose courses completed in an associate degree program or during the first two years of a bachelor's degree program.

APSU will apply the course credits already earned toward the credits needed to earn a B.S.P.S. Then the student will complete the remaining professional studies courses online and at the Dickson County Higher Education Center.
Anyone interested should apply immediately.

The Spring I Term course, “Leading Teams,” will be offered from 5:30-9:30 p.m., Tuesdays, Jan. 22-March 19.

During Spring II Term, the course, “Managing Information Technology,” will be offered from 5:30-9:30 p.m., Tuesdays, March 25-May 2, and “Management of Organizations” will be offered from 5:30-9:30 p.m., Thursdays, March 25-May 2.
