APSU golf unwraps an early holiday gift

The Clarksville Golf Association has presented Austin Peays golf program a $4,000 check in support of the program.

One of the CGAs continuing goals, according to president Terry Griffin, is to promote and support junior golf in the Clarksville-Montgomery County area, including the APSU program. The CGA raises funds through its spring and summer golf events with the help of its corporate sponsors–Legends Bank, James Corlew Chevrolet, Planters Bank, Budweiser of Clarksville and Wendys.

“We can't say enough about the continuing support of the CGA for our Austin Peay golf program,” says APSU golf coach Mark Leroux. “In fact, they have elevated that level of support, and our coaches and players recognize that fact and are appreciative of their efforts in our program's successes.”
