APSU gets nod from TBR to offer M.A. in Teaching

Austin Peay State University was approved Dec. 8 by the Tennessee Board of Regents to offer a Master of Arts in Teaching.

The new degree would allow students to earn simultaneously a teaching license and an advanced degree. Also, the degree would allow students to participate in a degree program designed to meet the needs of professionals specialized in a certain area but who lack a background in instruction.
