At Austin Peay, we are large enough to offer you a broad range of educational and social options, but small enough to treat you as an individual. That’s because we provide all of the resources of a big university, with a small college feel. We serve a large population of diverse students with several degree options at the associates, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels. Many of these degrees can be pursued on campus and online. Austin Peay also is working to support the region’s economic growth with several new programs that cater to the employment needs of local industries and the surrounding community.

This summer, two Austin Peay State University students gained valuable astrophysics research experience during a prestigious program at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory in Batavia, Illinois.
On Friday, Sept. 22, 2023, the Austin Peay State University men's basketball team toured Mount Olive Cemetery in Clarksville, Tennessee. The trip fostered competitiveness and resilience to work together as a team and continue to push on in this upcoming season. This is not the average cemetery; however, these hallowed grounds have a history from the early 20th century.
Austin Peay is excited to announce the Peayple in the Community - Day of Service on Oct. 25, 2023. This event exemplifies APSU's strategic plan to foster engagement through service and provides a platform for students, faculty and staff to contribute meaningfully to the Clarksville community.
