Note: For fall semester, 2006, the last day for a student to withdraw from a course with a "W" rather than the mandatory “F” is Monday October 9. Rare exceptions can be approve after this date but only if the student is passing the course at the time of withdrawal and there are extenuating circumstances making it impossible for the student to continue to attend classes. You would be wise to discuss your grade with me well before that date if you are not succeeding in the course.
