POSTING A MESSAGE
To participate in the AP-AAUP-LIST discussion, send your E-mail "post" [message] to AP-AAUP-L itself at: AP-AAUP-L@LIST.APSU.EDU .
Or you may use your E-mail system's function to reply to a message you have received from the AP-AAUP-List. You may also post relevant materials from other sources to the AP-AAUP-List.
It is very helpful to the subscribers of the list when you write a brief but succinct description of the nature of your message in the SUBJECT HEADING of your E-mail "post."
Some suggestions on etiquette for this (and all) list(s):
* Remember that we're all just folks here. Be
respectful.
* Lurking is encouraged. You might want to read for a few days to get the hang of what this list is like. After you get the idea, please contribute!
* If your post is relevant only to one member of the list, please contact that person using private personal e-mail.
* When quoting, quote only relevant passages of the previous post rather than quoting the whole message.
* Avoid "Me, too" and "Yes" messages. Your contribution should move the discussion along, not just make it longer.
Additional useful information on netiquette may be found at http://www.ualberta.ca/~pletendr/list-net.html .
