What is the Credentials Packet and how is it used?
The credentials
packet is a free service provided for APSU Juniors and
Seniors. This packet files your resume and
references with our office. There are several ways to
utilize your credentials file with our office.
Employers contact our office from time
to time, looking for recent or upcoming graduates in
different majors. When they do, we pull all
the files with the corresponding major(s) and
graduation date(s) they request. We will then
forward your resume to them for review.
Employers may also ask for references, transcripts,
and/or test scores. If at any time you wonder
if, when, and to whom your file has been sent to,
all you'll have to do is ask. We make sure to
keep a detailed record every time your file is
accessed.
We also take requests from you!
If you know of a company that has a good history
with its employees or any company or school you are
interested in working for, we will be happy to send
your file out for you. This can save you the
headache and stress of wondering if you got all the
correct files and scores together to send. We
can forward the entire file, or any part of it,
based on your request.
