Major
APSU has offered a four-year B.S. degree in agriculture since the 1940s. Requirements include at least 42 semester hours of agriculture courses plus additional required related courses in biology, chemistry, economics, geosciences and communications. Students majoring in agriculture will chose one of these areas of concentration: agri-business, agri-communication, or agri-science.  A concentration in pre-veterinary medicine is also available for students planning to transfer to a college of veterinary medicine.

Minor
At least 18 hours of Agriculture courses are required, of which at least 9 hours must be 3000-4000 level courses.
