Submissions
Zone 3 publishes fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction. We are currently accepting online submissions of poetry and nonfiction through our submission manager. For poetry, we prefer that you submit no more than 4-6 poems, for nonfiction no more than one essay. All submissions should be uploaded as ONE .doc or .rtf file. To log in to the submission manager,
Zone 3 does not accept electronic submissions of fiction. All fiction submissions should be typed, double-spaced, and include your name and address. Please enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE) for our response. Although we have no absolute word limits, we seldom publish a piece that is more than 5,000 words in length. We will consider novel excerpts. Send submissions to:

Please allow 2-4 months for a reply. Summer submissions may take longer. Zone 3 does accept simultaneous submissions, but please notify us right away if the work has been accepted elsewhere. Please note that all rejected manuscripts will be recycled.
