Pre-Welcome Checklist

Before you come to Welcome, be sure to:

• Apply for financial aid
  To receive any type of financial aid – including Lottery Scholarships – you must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). It takes about three weeks to receive an award letter after you apply, so don’t wait! Visit www.fafsa.ed.gov. 
• Apply for Housing
  If you’re a single, full-time freshman under age 21, you must live on campus OR commute from the home of a parent or guardian who lives within 50 miles of campus. You must apply for housing OR submit a Residency Exemption Form. 
• Complete Immunization Requirements
  You’ll need to complete the Immunization Requirement and bring your completed form to Welcome. You’ll need to complete this form, have it signed by a certified health care provider and bring it to Summer Welcome.
• Submit final transcripts
  Be sure your high school, GED center and/or former college(s) sends your final transcripts to our Office of Admissions, P.O. Box 4548, Clarksville, TN 37044. Click here to find and print a Transcript Request Form you can send to your former school(s).
