Welcome is a one-day event during which you’ll register for classes, ask questions, learn how to get involved, get a student ID card and become familiar with academic resources and support services. Attendance is mandatory if you’re a first-time freshman. You’re a first-time freshman if you’re coming to APSU with fewer than 12 college credit hours.
Your parents and family members can affect your success as a student tremendously. With that in mind, we’ve developed Welcome sessions especially for them. Due to the nature of Welcome, children should not attend.
Winter Welcome will be Tuesday, January 10 for new students. On this site, https://www.apsu.edu/admissions/undergrad/unconditional1, you will be able to reserve your spot. For Freshmen Welcome You will arrive at 8:30 a.m. and be here until approximately 4:00 p.m. You should have received, or will receive, via post mail, information about registering for a welcome program by our Admissions Office. You - and your family members who wish to attend - can register for a welcome session at the web address listed on the mailing or by phoning the Office of Admissions at (931) 221-7661.
