Usability Guidelines
Screen Resolution
To allow users to view pages properly in any resolution,
the maximum width for tables and graphics is 580 pixels.
Browsers
Check pages in both Netscape
and Internet Explorer.
Some people are still using Netscape
3.x or Internet Explorer
3.x, so be sure your pages are understandable within these browsers.
Platforms
Pages should be checked on both Windows 95/98 and Mac
operating systems using both Netscape and Internet Explorer.
Screen Readers and Text Only
To ensure that pages are compatible with screen readers
and for text-only browsers, check pages with Bobby.
Also review the Web Accessibility information.
Validation
Test your pages with an online validation service such as
Web Site Garage.
