Welcome to Veterans Upward Bound

Come to Veterans Upward Bound before you take the COMPASS Exam, and if you are in freshman

classes, come to Veterans Upward Bound for tutoring.

Veterans Upward Bound (VUB) provides FREE educational services to qualified veterans who are planning to enroll in college or technical school or take the GED Exam.  Veterans enrolled in enhanced or developmental college classes can also benefit from the tutoring we provide.

In our Learning Center, you receive individualized tutoring from an instructor who has identified your strengths and needs.  You will advance at your own pace, refresh those forgotten skills, and be assured of academic success in higher education.  Our counselor answers questions you have about the enrollment process and helps you make vital contacts with people in the school you plan to attend.

Out-processing military personnel and discharged veterans may be eligible to receive services.

The Austin Peay State University Veterans Upward Bound Program is funded by the US Department of Education in the amount of $296,559 for FY 13-14 and is a free service for Veterans.

NOTE: If you were a participant any time during 1999 - 2013, please contact the Veterans Upward Bound Program to verify your e-mail and home address.
